Ratings

MPAA Ratings

  • Rated: TV-14 (prime-time-TV-friendly Violence, mild Profanity and Adult Content)

Tentacle Ratings

A rough measure of how "Lovecraftian" the work is:

  • S____ (One Tentacle: Debateably Lovecraftian; has almost no direct connection to Lovecraft's work)

Really, from what I saw of the first four seasons years ago, there was not a lot going on in this series in the average episode that could be directly called "Lovecraftian", but there were at least hints of occasional sub-plots involving alternate dimensions, human manipulation by alien intelligences, cyclopean ruins, conspiracies by secret organizations, hints of an Atlantean lost civilization, and that sort of thing which might provide some fuel for some sort of weird "lost world" Call of Cthulhu campaign.

Note: This rating is not intended as a measure of quality, merely of how closely related to Lovecraftian "Weird" fiction the work is.
