A set of detailed indices is also provided to help navigate the extensive content.

    By PoC, in News,

Just out for Patrons is the recording of the concluding part of our latest nameless scenario, The Manderley Mysteries by Graham.

An old friend, Christopher Manderley,  calls for help with a sensitive family matter. What is going on with Uncle Robert, and the increasingly strange happenings at Belltower Hall? Find out in the latest instalment from the Innsmouth House Players.

The Manderley Mysteries is one of a unique series of scenarios run under YSDC's own rules-lite Lovecraftian roleplaying system, which will be appearing in our Eternal Journal format in the coming months.

The Players have been recording games for more than a decade and you can download a veritable avalanche of them in our Actual Play files section (just log in to access).

I do wonder if we'll ever get better at it..! 🙂

CBC, Sep 2018: Gandalf in Lederhosen

    By PoC, in News,

Welcome to the September 2018 meeting of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club, a podcast for Yoggie Patrons. We return to the tea rooms of Yorkshire for discussion of all things, Cthulhu'ey, Lovecraftian'ish and Yog-Sothoth'ery once more!

In this meeting of the CBC we talk about Zeppelin translations, nameless: releases & resolutions and RPGs as spectator sport, along with other topics and tangents that Breakfast Club is known for.

The recording is available to Patrons via our Downloads section, as well as podcast feed, and features chapters and links in the file for enhanced navigation.

ICYMI, we've moved on from Patreon and now offer a less formal "tip jar" (bottom of main CBC page). If you'd like to sponsor the hosts a cup of tea or a biscuit (we'll let them fight over who gets it 😉) they're always grateful.

Not a Patron? It's easier than ever to become one and you gain access to a world of extras. It's how we're able to be here. So come, pull up a chair and join us for possibly one of the more unusual podcasts out there (or in here for that matter)...

Oh, and next month look out for a special Hallowe'en LIVE CBC broadcast (and Val's Cthulhu Cthuiz)... don't say you weren't warned!

    CBC: Paraphernalia [MiniDisc]

    By PoC, in News,

The Cthulhu Breakfast Club (our YSDC Patron podcast) is no stranger to unusual formats, whether by location (tea rooms, al fresco), recording (Ambisonic) or delivery (wax cylinder). For August 2018 we added a new (or rather, old) delivery format, Sony MiniDisc. This isn't our first MiniDisc release, but it is our first MD-only one.

CBC: Paraphernalia features @BigJackBrass and myself as we spend an hour and more discussing all manner of grognardian topics at Geek Retreat. Got an old MD player, or maybe you won one on Breakfast Club? Here's an excuse to dig it out of the attic/cellar/shoebox/shoggoth pit and listen to a "Disc-cast" like it's 1999...

We were also delighted to see that the British Library took an interest in it too.

    The Cthulhu Breakfast Club: Paraphernalia

"The first rule of Secret Cthulhu Breakfast Club is... order breakfast."

CBC August 2018 Special Edition. A MiniDisc exclusive release.

The MD features a 78 minute CBC meeting with Paul and Jon, recorded at Geek Retreat (Leeds). Produced in SP (Standard Play) format, suitable for any MiniDisc player.
