“Glamours and semiotic signifiers begin to grasp the imagination, the eyes, the hand and the genitals in a huge energetic feed-back loop. It is renowned and buoyant! Pure will and subconscious motors drive all the action. In our hallowed Sphere sacrament the deed of lovemaking is privileged in emblematic restoration of the Enormous Habit (sex)- a razor blade is placed in a trophy and the verbal skill 'Razor blade you are masculine and Trophy you are lady - conjoined you are the military that silhouette all Cosmos' Fundamentally this is honouring procreative sex, i.e.: the amalgamation of the egg and the sperm as a Marvellous Act. Dancers at the End of Time - Illusionist Curves of the Blue Policebox; one of the Tarot of Lady Freda Harris. Witches see soul sexuality as a inheritance and articulation of the Celestial. 50% of the other roleplayers here will be Chinese Officers, recall… Love assembly can be a consecrated and magickal act to invoke explicit energies and fashion robust revolution“.

Under these vast skyscrapers of Ikebukoru was the small park-like neighbourhood. The only way to keep an area stable is to never take your eyes from it; of course, the longer you aren't looking at the rest of what's around you, the more that will change.

The subject matter varies widely in both depiction and effect; a painting of a strange alien landscape may not be as disturbing as the sketch of a Paris cafe where a woman's eyes hunger for something that she will never find in Paris. Everything I do I do it for you.

Steal the car at D before the gangers at the other cars beat you to it. Don't be SCARED off by the bright yellow paint job on the outside, that is to make sure that you won’t miss the place! What does it mean? Carcosa harbours secrets. Within the city's shifting insanity a figure stands, a whisperer in mottled rags. From behind a pallid mask a voice shuffles forth with an exhalation through yellowed teeth. The soft words are intended for you. Gang Theft Auto: Your ride has broken down at B. Kyoto Math. Larceny, Theft or Robbery: The theft of another’s property, either through force, threat, or Embezzlement.

Punishment varies by severity of act from exile, to prison for 1D10x2 years, braindance, personality alteration. Evil world of evil thoughts upon evil. The "Lucky Dragon" convenience store, Chips and Fish and Videos and News and Bank and Groceries. The Cube, but with hills. Mutants of various radioactive fluorescent shades… THE SKELETON CREW: Portrayal of Carpenter-esque, ultra-violent horror breaks new ground in the gaming industry. Locked Doors do punch on through Pack Rats pouring over each other; Skavern!

Some singularity of PKDian proportions. Chaos Agents of all “End-of-Level†boss in Game of Death/or arcade â€ÂKung Fuâ€Â; Chaos Ramen joint chef Implanted memory from Peter ‘Yakuza-Mecha’ Carey. "Identify yourself, please." The 13th Floor meets Identity. Romance must be lurking around here. A character with MIZU SHOBAI skill knows when and where to bribe someone; how to approach them, and how much to offer. A trained dancer +4 MIZU SHOBAI or greater can successfully dance for payment in small clubs or dance troupes. The influence of Hastur is pervasive and ever-changing, and its madness finds new interpretation in each creator. Zoe, a modern maiden. Saucy.

Yuk…ouch… Thelema: A fire in the mind’s eye. A Pirate ship made from the timber of Sherwood Forest. Downtown in Megacity One; near the borders to the Undercity crust of the sump. Staring intently at a particular door will allow it to remain constant, but the floor just behind you may be turning into a crumbling cliff. The fire place is a real touch for winter warmers. Champions like Elric and Jerry Cornelius; CAPTAIN DESTINY verses CAPTAIN CHAOS; Mr. Mental, OBERON the GIANT, The Amazing Ripley, Ragniir overlord of Dimensia Six and Sinthia Succubus.

NeoCorp: The WeeCircleKe Shops in some Ballardian NuCybe Future. The sky rolling eternally over the Winchester YMCA night sky. Lucky Dragon ATMs all had this same voice, a weird, uptight, strangled little castrato voice … probably kept people from standing around, [talking] with it… Magick is Meaning Manipulation. Twin Peaks surreal; Ramsey Campbell spooky: The Early Nineties.

Then meet the Meat Machine itself - your worst (Virus-Terminator-Serial killer-Cronenburg-Short Circuit inspired) nightmares met down a dark mould-dripping “Escape from New York†wet garbage-strewn alley. He headed for the ATM in the back… he knew it was watching him as he walked up to it. Brunvard horrors. Bar snacks and hot panini are served all night and resident DJ will shake the best that is on you every Friday night. Tate Modern Gallery artworks displayed are of all types: paintings, sketches, statuary, kinetic sculptures, folk art, etc.

The quality varies widely, but all share a common heritage of unbalanced creativity. Works here are rarely designed to shock or disgust; the grotesqueries of Richard Upton Pickman would have a hard time finding a place in Hastur's aesthetic. The “Call of Cthulhu†Convention campaign tournament motel. Blackfriars Road, Southwark replica village… I can see our planetary starship bio-Gaian sphere. This place is great for a good night out, and even better for recovering from your hangover the next day. That was some one else doing all that; I was watching it like in a movie. The bar's huge and furnished with large, comfy sofas and low tables.

Interstates. Your merc group can operate out of a club, a bar, or a well-hidden paramilitary base. There's also a nice two-tier beer garden for the occasional day when it's not pouring with rain. At +2 MIZU SHOBAI , you can cut in line at the movies. Bozo Gangers [Grunts] are positioned at A, C, & E (1D6 each location). Frigate Commander http://www.musica-crescendo.com/m/index.html The most unusual feature of the city is that it is constantly changing; as you look around, the structure of the city -- or at least, your perception of it -- breaks down and disassembles at the corners of your vision. If you move your gaze slowly from left to right and then back again, the entire expanse will have changed somehow: new bricks become old, flagstones become granite, fences become walls, doorways vanish or become cupboards.

At +5 MIZU SHOBAI , you can get into exclusive clubs or fix a speeding ticket. THE CAGE - Trapped within the confines of your own life. Ultimate Fighting. THE NIGHT OWL SKILL. Ggod, I wish I’d had better precognition. Zombies -classic Romero or Resident Evil. Handkerchief holding Yankee gang members from an issue of David Mac‘s “Kabukiâ€Â. Justin, Christina, Dan, Slorgy, Kumi, Adrian, Rosa; Cyberpunk Players. Low-lit ambience, cocktails & conversation. Ali McBeal, of the clan McBeal. For example, a Level +3 MIZU SHOBAI Night owl could incite a nightclub crowd to get rowdy. The Existential Chill of subUrbi@ the red-lantern-lit Car park of the Inn. This being will tell you of Carcosa's secrets, it will share its knowledge with any who will turn an appreciative ear. It will never tell the same tale twice. By day Imbibe is a fine restaurant with a classy Mediterranean menu, by night, a bustling bar with a brand new cocktail list that will challenge your taste!

I got a copy of the "Horror on the Orient Express" Soundtrack by Alex Otterlei from the fabulous Lovecraftiana online shop and it got me to thinking....

Could you do 'Horror on the Orient Express - Live' as a characters in a compartment mini-game? All you'd need is a room and players; maybe use the 'Strangers on a train' NPC list booklet as pre-gen investigators or Keeper characters.

It would be somewhere between performance art and a devised theatre conceptual piece, with improvised dialogue... A freeform am-dram of imaginative play; the goal being to create a perfect 'pocket game' of Cthulhu Live; a small game maybe lasting a hour or so.

So what would happen?

Something Lovecraftian...

... Your ancestor posesses you

... Non-Euclidean entities contact you during a light snooze

... the Shining Trapezoid must be kept in the light

... Your wife is a Deep One

... Your mind is swapped with a time-travelling being

... Your grave robbing antics catch up with you

... The Conductor & motorman's face is a white cone tapered with one blood-red tentacle

etc.

The Double-Bill Symposium questionnaire for Professional SF Writers & Editors 1969.

Question 1: For what reason or reasons do you write science fiction in preference to other classes of literature?

Philip K. Dick: “Its audience is not hamstrung by middle-class prejudices and will listen to genuinely new ideas. There is less of an emphasis on mere style and more on content - as should be. It is a man’s field, and hence a happy ending is not required - as in all the fiction fields dominated by women. It is one of the few branches of serious fiction in which humour plays a major role (thereby making SF more complete, as was Shakespeare's work). Being one of the oldest modes of fiction known to the Western world, it embodies some of the most subtle, ancient, and far-reaching dreams, ideas, and aspirations of which thinking man is capable. In essence, it's the broadest field of fiction, permitting the most far-ranging and advanced concepts of every possible type; no variety of idea can be excluded from SF; everything is its propertyâ€Â.

From Robin Laws' essay "The Literary Edge," published in Over the Edge (Atlas Games, 1992):

OTE is, among other things, an attempt to further the development of role-playing as art. GMs will find it fruitful to approach decisions as an artist creating a collaborative work with players. The idea of collaboration is important: the GM is not a "storyteller" with the players as audience, but merely a "first among equals" given responsibility for the smooth progress of the developing story.

... The GM is not a movie director, able to order actors to interpret a script a given way. Instead, he should be seeking ways to challenge PCs, to use plot development to highlight aspects of their character, in hopes of being challenged in return.

... For years, role-players have been simulating fictional narratives the way wargamers recreate historical military engagements. They've been making spontaneous, democratized art for their own consumption, even if they haven't seen it in those terms. Making the artistry conscious is a liberating act, making it easier to emulate the classic tales that inspire us. Have fun with it, and enjoy your special role in aesthetic history - it's not everybody who gets to be a pioneer in the development of a new art form.

Like being Extras- It's gonna make us celebrities... Or minor characters in the YogRadio pantheon, who knows?

Gee... What's the scariest part of Art for you guys?

If we are engaging enough we may even become like unto Goodlights.

Just make things up on the spot, give them the skills you think they need same with hp etc.

The rule is to stick with something once you decide it.

A cut-up taken from the "Random H.P. Lovecraft Story Generator"

The echo explianed an annihilative meditation afterimage of the identity that had gone before.

A cloud formation over a broken memory hibernating, but soon I was to find a tomb behind a monolith seducing a nightmare.

Some fear living inside the phantasm, while the paralysis from a terror draws itself up. The egg granted the power of a stone from the ghastly depths, but soon secreted away by the awful knowledge of a mortician!

It was the scream, now fungoid that was greedily unimaginable! The color around the monstrosity helped contain the pyramid, but the resplendent stone is much more hesitantly imaginative.

... okay, so I was bored.

I'm just wondering.

Is there any other way then that nasty flash-based way, to connect to the chat.

(was thinking if there is a IRC server or something similar behind).

Would be quite useful to know for the poor bastards without any kind of flash-player.

I intercepted Zann in the hallway and told him that I would like to know him and be with him when he played.
