Hi

Sorry about making a blatant plug, but I think you might be interested in this podcast: http://armchairadventurerblog.com/2015/09/26/the-grognard-files-podcast-episode-2-call-of-cthulhu/

The Grognard Files is about rediscovering table top RPGs from back in the early 1980s. The latest episode goes back to the second edition box set produced by Games Workshop and how our group tried to make the conceptual leap from dungeons into madness.

You can find it on iTunes here too: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-grognard-rpg-files/id1028591522?mt=2

Thanks

My good friend Dirk the Dice has uploaded his 2nd episode of the Grognard Files. Its all about Call of Cthulhu from back in the 80s. It's a good reflection of how Call of Cthulhu entered the mainstream of roleplaying in the early 80s. Its a very humorous and light hearted and doesn't take it self too seriously.

I am rubbish at giving links and stuff but if you Google "Grognard Files Episode 2 Call of Cthulhu" you may find it.

Check it out

Ed

Hi

I've just published the follow up to the podcast which discusses some of the finest Call of Cthulhu supplements, from back in the day.

It also includes a reference to the The Lovecraft Variant - an article pre-dating CoC, that converts Tunnels and Trolls for Lovecraft adventures.

This is the link: http://armchairadventurerblog.com/2015/10/23/micro-grog-pod-call-of-cthulhu-supplements/

It's available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-grognard-rpg-files/id1028591522?mt=2

Thanks

Dirk

Hi

In the latest Episode of The Grognard Files we talk Tunnels and Trolls with Jon Hancock, of this Parish.

There's a detailed chat about The Lovecraft Variant from the Sorcerers Apprentice which was an inspiration for Call of Cthulhu.

... and a lot of love for T&T.

Thanks

Dirk
