The Cthulhu Breakfast Club

With the planned live broadcast on Monday, as mentioned we'll be using "Twitter Live Video" (well the audio part of it anyway); currently Twitter Live Video is "Powered by Periscope" (Twitter's original live video app.) as such if you'd like to live comment on the stream you may need to be registered in the Periscope app. since to keep commentary sane we'll be making it people we follow in Periscope only - so let me know your Periscope registered Twitter handle so I can follow you back.

At some point Twitter will likely close down Periscope and everything will be done just through Twitter, but at the moment it still seems to be a bit of a hybrid with regard to where features/functionality are. Again you don't need the Periscope app. to watch the feed, as of December 2016 that can now just be done directly on Twitter.

Live editions of The CBC will likely be "now and then" rather than a regular occurrence.

Thanks to everyone (179 people) who joined us for the live January meeting of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club. It was fun to do and seemed to (mostly!) work. We plan to do more in the future as occasional "specials". Meanwhile I better get on with processing the actual recording of the meeting for Breakfast Clubbers. ;-)

Last year we gave away a CBC Wooden Dice Tower every month.

At some point during 2017 one lucky Breakfast Clubber is going to win this...

Well, since I already bought my own copy, I'd like to recuse myself from the running -- let someone who hasn't had that opportunity win it!  :)

Since I already purchased this (pre-ordered it, in fact, several months before it was published), I'll skip entering this one so someone else can enjoy it. However, I CAN say that all you someone else's out there need to get on and enter this; believe me, this pack is simply amazing, and to get it for free is even more so!

Yes - used to the odd ringing phone on CBC, but that one was certainly persistent. Overall another excellent show though  :-D

Thank you. Yes, they were certainly keen to get into Pickles... ;-)

It did give me an opportunity in post to switch audio styles for a "compare and contrast". Either way it seems Breakfast Club is best enjoyed with headphones for maximum effect. :-)

In my opinion, the binaural sounds better, but then I always enjoy my doses of CBC via headphone injection straight to the brain.

A summertime CBC, though it seems we may have taken a wrong turn on the way back from The British Museum.

This August edition of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club sees your hosts commiserating about not being at the big conventions this week (except for Chris who's at NecronomiCon 2017, lucky devil! [or simply the result of hard work]). We discuss the usual shoggoth smorgasbord of topics and tangents with which to while away an hour or so of your time, come join us in...

A longer-than-usual meeting of The CBC. The reason? We go back over 12 years of recordings of Call of Cthulhu campaigns - all in one go...

This is where having chapters and bookmarks in the file really pays off (if you don't want to hear the ins-and-outs of certain campaigns)!

This meeting of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club is dedicated to the memory of Carl T. Ford.
