Wow, you're so famous that the last one arrived without a complete address!

Don't worry, I'm not really that dumb.

A couple more, almost positively local.

Pookie sends us an image of, well I don't know what. (A cross between a 3rd Stage Guild Navigator, a cyclops & Mr. Blobby?) Never underestimate the utility of "holidaying at home". :D

DaveL shows us the infamous London fog monster in action.

Thanks again for the cards! We're always very happy to receive them and we do read them out on Yog Radio as well!

Thanks for sending this, MikC! Could have thought of it myself. Too busy gaming, I guess...

BTW, that wasn't Tentacles, it was German Cthulhu Con in Rieneck, deep within the dark and dangerous Spessart forest.

Funny how I accidentally said 'leftovers of the 13th century city walls' when of course I meant 'remains' . I have no idea who or what ate the walls but there may be a scenario idea there... The Thing That Ate the Walls ;)

Oh, as far as the werewolf legend is concerned: I deny everything. Pure coincidence. I wasn't even born in this place. :)

With thanks to jasonw1239 for a rather haunting view of Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick.

Always happy to receive more postcards. It's turning into a nice collection here. :)

The Hopewell Rocks were carved through the erosion from the river.

http://www.thehopewellrocks.ca/English/index.htm

The Petitcodiac River is in the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy with tides as high as 45 feet.

When I was young the tide being forced up the river created at tidal bore as high as 6.5 feet. (This was a large wave that would roll along the river filling to its maximum tidal level within minutes).

Unfortunately the city built a causeway across the river in the early 70's which quickly chocked the river with silt.

There have been over 50 environmental studies about the benefits of replacing the causeway with a bridge but no actual action.

More material media has arrived!

For this round we have a mysterious package containing the following:

postcard-037.jpg

There's something going on at http://cumbriancthulhu.blogspot.com ...

postcard-037a.jpg

- and a number of intriguing journal entries. (The full text of which can be read here -> Chamber in the Hillside (Part One).)

We also received a postcard from someone called "Neil".

Who seems to be an online T-Shirt salesman?

Do keep sending in your cards, we're building a handsome repository of physical communications, of which I'm sure old HPL would approve!

Um isn't that Neil Gaiman's signature? I have a signed book of his, and it's quite similar. Maybe he sent the postcard when he was at the shop in LA?

I think Paul is being a bit coy about receiving a cool message from, let's face it, a bit of a superstar. Besides, it does say Neil Gaiman on the postcard.

By the way Paul, did you receive the book I sent you? You know the one I mean.

Well I think we know now, at least one postcard that'll be mentioned in the next Yog Radio huh. Congrats Yog-Sothoth, just shows that this is the cool place to hang out...

...with scenic views of Leng and Lake Hali.

Back in October or November, I sent a postcard from Dayton, OH to your address. Have you received it because I thought you would have gotten it in time for cast #40? If not, I will send another.

Hi Tomasso, I'm afraid it hadn't arrived the last time I checked before Christmas, but there has been a postal strike in the UK so it may have been delayed. I'll be going to the Post Office Box in the next week, so will check its depths for your card!

By the way Paul, did you receive the book I sent you? You know the one I mean.

Indeed I did. Thank you. It's stereoscopic art I tell you! ;)

After trekking through the bleak snows of deepest winter, battling the Gnoph-keh and making suitable sacrifices to Ithaqua, I have returned from the Innsmouth House Post Office Box! Within that most unusual sepulchre, I recovered the following, dating back to years past. :)

A Christmas card from lovely Truro in Cornwall. Courtesy of Newbunkle!

Another Christmas card, this time from Blaggard. Please note, gifts are not mandatory. :)

postcard-041a.jpg

Yes, it's come to pass. I'm now sending postcards to myself.

postcard-042.jpg

postcard-042a.jpg

Chris Jarocha-Ernst keeps us updated on his movements. Time to curry favour with the Elk Goddess, methinks...

postcard-043.jpg

postcard-043a.jpg

Tomasso's card finally arrives. Probably setting a record for longest in transit...

Please do keep sending them, and save me from writing to myself! 8O

Am I the only one who thinks this is a jolly good idea? :D

- send one card and say "Please keep for next year & year after etc., unless you lose it, then I'll send another." - Think of the savings! (environmental if nothing else). ;)
