Summary
This article presents practical hints on playing characters who have a range of different mental disorders. For each mental illness discussed, a section is provided giving some helpful advice to Keepers on how to describe the distorted reality the character perceives, and a separate section offers advice to players on how to run characters with that disorder.
The following conditions are described:
- Schizophrena (sub-divided into a range of different symptoms: Distortions of the Ego, Hallucinations, Mania, Distorted Thinking Processes, Mood Disorders and Movement Disorders)
