I guess it's time to start playing a new game. The Achtung: Cthulhu range looks great! IITWI.

I also enjoyed it.

Don't fret about the long runtime, it just means there is  more to enjoy.

I missed it again. I'm really going to have to get a job, and become a Patron Creature, so I can catch up on all these Media Mythos Meanderations!.

Ah, right thank you! Sound only, well that's cool. Now I'm demotivated again! More lazy days.

If you really want to use Combat Accountancy in a game, Paul, then the system for you is S. John Ross's Risus: an accountancy skill can actually be used in a fight in that system :D

Going through a pile of old development notes it seems that the people here on "Olde Yoggie" are:

  • The UK's longest serving podcasters. [October 2004]
  • The first to ever put up game recordings online. [January 2003]
  • The only group to record shows in Ambisonic audio. [September 2016 onwards]
  • The only group to live broadcast shows in 360º video. [April 2017 onwards]

Though at least three of those landmarks could change at any time. :-)

As for recording in Tea Rooms, we're certainly not the first to do that but it does seem a very civilised format; if you start your own show - recommended (and do post here to say which Tea Rooms [or indeed coffee shop/public house] you use)!

Would you provide the contents of the Folio Society volume. It has the same title as one of the Penguin annotated editions. Is it the same text? The same set of stories minus the notes?

Exciting news about Lovecraft Country!

It's great to hear that Matt Ruff has finally succeeded in landing a TV series. I can recommend almost all of his books (of which there are not too many, btw). His best one in my opinion is Set this House in Order.

Anyway, Lovecraft Country has the potential for an intriguing TV show. Let's hope for the best.
