Now in our 19th year, 2017 sees a few changes coming up for "Olde Yoggie" and one of those is the re-opening of our Little Shop of Cosmic Horrors under the moniker of "Arkham Market" which will offer items created by the fine artisan shoggoths we host in our dungeons.

Initially we're re-activating some of our previous stock items (which will include the notorious well received Lovecraftian Letters), but look out for new and exclusive items as we head further into the year.

What prompted the return of the shop?  As I thought that the Byzantine tax rules introduced by the EU had claimed the Yoggie shop as one of its victims.

On electronic products (like PDFs), yes, that (VATMOSS) is still in force. Physical products were due to be next, but it now looks like that move won't be materialising anytime soon. I'm not even going to go into the whole Brexit thing.

The upshot is, we're selling physical products (almost exclusively of our own devising) once more.

Yes Brexit is a bit like the war.  Don't mention it.

What ever the cause of the return it's a most welcome return.

Another re-vivified item appears in The Little Shop, this time it's our wax cylinder...

The Whisperer in Wax

"It is more than two years now since I last ran off that blasphemous waxen cylinder; but at this moment, and at all other moments, I can still hear that feeble, fiendish buzzing as it reached me for the first time...."

Now you can possess the auditory evidence from H.P. Lovecraft's classic story, The Whisperer in Darkness, with YSDC's very own wax cylinder! This is the first Lovecraftian wax cylinder recording ever produced and makes a magnificent prop for your Cthulhu games or a wonderful talking point at parties, convocations and cult meetings...

The exclusive Whisperer in Darkness cylinder is a genuine wax cylinder featuring a recording made to complement HPL's tale of cosmic horror. To see (and hear it) being played, watch the following video

Patrons can pick it up in the Yoggie shoppe - delivery costs already included.

Found in a box tucked away somewhere discreet, a small handful of copies of The Express Diaries. Our Horror on the Orient Express novelisation by Nick Marsh.

EUROPE, 1925. The continent still licks its wounds from the devastating war that raged across it a few years before. Meanwhile, in London, an ageing professor has uncovered the clues to the whereabouts of pieces of an ancient statue, all but forgotten by history. When his investigations lead him to fear for his life, he enlists the aid of an unlikely group of allies; a retired colonel, a secretive academic, a magician s wife, and a Yorkshire matriarch with her reluctant assistant. Together they will journey across Europe to recover the long-lost statue. They will travel in style, on the most luxurious train the world has ever seen. Unbeknownst to them, however, their activities have already attracted the attention of a sinister cult, desperate to acquire the artefact for their own dark purposes, and now a terrible creature, trapped for centuries, senses that the opportunity for revenge has come at last... THE EXPRESS DIARIES is a tale of a journey into darkness and horror on the world's most famous train.

304 page illustrated jacketed hardcover with 16 colour plates and integral silk bookmark.
