Welcome to the October 2015 meeting of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club!

This meeting includes (among other things) talk of:

A tectonic shift in Chaosium's logistics, some very popular Kickstarters (Delta Green: RPG and Cthulhu Wars: Onslaught Two), Chris's report on his Chicago event and how we celebrate Hallowe'en.

Plus one of two chances to win an All Rolled Up gaming accessory.

The recording is available in all the usual places. "Breakfast Clubbers" (show supporters) can also watch extended video clips from the meeting as well, in the dedicated CBC forum.

We currently have 12/20 on the "interest-o-meter" for CBC ARUs. Canvassing for these closes on Hallowe'en!

While interested, I think the postage to the USA would be prohibitive.

A quick additional detail, the ARUs we were talking about in the video clip are c. £25 each, but other ARUs on the All Rolled Up web site start at £18 (and head up to £40 if you want Harris Tweed versions).

I own two ARUs, a premium one and a tiny. Both are fantastic products, as is the fold down dice tray. Well worth the money!

I picked up mine at UK Games Expo this year and thought they would make excellent giveaways for CBC.

BTW, the deadline for entries is the end of Friday, 13th November. :-)

Alas while there was certainly some interest in CBC-specific ARUs, we didn't quite get the requisite numbers necessary to commission a set.

What I will do is put my thinking cap on and see if I can come at this from a slightly different approach in 2016.

In the meantime don't forget to enter our Hallowe'en meeting giveaway for your chance to win one two Cthulhu-themed ARUs!

You're most welcome, and thank you.

BTW, Cthulhu Wars 2 KS reached $1M by the time it finished!

Those numbers are almost too large to believe! It's hard to imagine a $1 million budget for a game, but then again, the copy of the original set I saw at NecronomiCon was really impressive. I can only imagine what grandeur has been added.

Also, much joy upon hearing of the ARU! I await with bated breath...

Our December meeting of The Cthulhu Breakfast Club is booked in for quite close to Christmas.

We should also have a guest with us (who may sound familiar to many)!

I thought it might be fun to do a limited "retro-release"/souvenir edition of the Christmas CBC as well.

If you're interested in the idea, do say!

Just listened to November CBC "All Seeing Eye" and realised I had a lucky escape... managed to avoid the effects of Halloween Cthulhu. And you seemed pleased to have the orange Great Old One.......
