Yeah I read that they can be destroyed with dynamite, but in the end I didn't want to waste time looking where I left my revolver after blasting a mummy :)

About the Antarctica campaign, any information about the Soapstone or if there are other misc items found further below the ice that may be needed for a perfect ending?

Wow, I played the main campaign on hard difficulty and it all went well until the very end when I had cleared the Library and went back to the three main worlds to collect the special items, where I got killed by a lowly red cultist because I exchanged my MedKit for the Consecreation Kit :( Oh well, at least I know it can be done :) The most fun was using the Materialize power to fence in all those raging Shoggoths on practically every level of Dagon and Library :)

Before that, I completed the Antarctica mnission in normal difficulty. Having Climbing Boots sure helps with those icicles!

By the way, the latest patch for Eldritch includes a new expansion that takes place in an asylum. Note that to accees it, you might have to respawn your character, then you can use the new orb as usual to teleport to it. Personally, I didn't like it at all. There appears to be a severe time limit, and something about collecting souls... meh.

How do you go about downloading it? I don't see it mentioned on the website.

I believe it's automatically applied if you have the game in your Steam library.

That might be a problem for me. I don't think I bought the game through Steam.

Blown away by Eldritch, but I'm using almost entirely Chrome OS and Android. Will Eldritch ever get on to either of these platforms? Or even start an online-only version?

It may be worth dropping the developers a line.

It does look like a fun game.

I love Games where you just have to know despite knowing it's a bad idea. Even if it's a rather "cute" and pixely game like this it gives you a certain thrill.

Eldritch looks really fun and I really enjoyed the reviews so far. Definitely checking this one out.
