I'm sure that will happen once we have finalised things with our print partner, but initially it will be available in PDF only. And possibly ePub once we've worked out how to preserve table formatting.

I'll definitely be picking one of these books up (or two as it were)

We're aiming for three right now, to cover all three standard settings. Obviously this depends on the commercial success of the first one, so don't be shy to pick it up when it's out ;)

This is looking brilliant.

I concurr ;) I must say I hadn't expected this to turn out so good. I credit Adam for letting me run free and Chris for making it happen visually (and dealing with my thousand-and-one requests for small changes).

Any other tasty factoids you could share? ;)

INVESTIGATOR WEAPONS has 128 pages. About 30 or so cover rules and campaign advice, 70 describe dozens of firearms, ammunition, melee weapons, explosives, body armour, flash lights, and similar gear, 4 pages of Keeper material, 2 pages of small-print bibliography, a detailed index, plus several pages of tables and rules summaries . . .

Cheers

This sounds terrific, it is such a shame that this won´t come in printed format first.

HANS, thanks so much for a great reply. :)

I'll be picking this up for sure. And, like others, hoping it comes out in a print version before too long.

I'll be waiting for the printed format, I think. Hope it doesn't take too long.

I'm thrilled to have it in PDF, but hope a print version becomes available to my brothers who prefer that medium.

Playing/Running: D&D 5e (Curse of Strahd, Reavers of the Harken Wold), Call of Cthulhu (Down Darker Trails), Aces & Eights, Fate (Art Restoration Syndicate)

If nobody buys the pdf, then the printed book probably won't happen. Reality of RPG publishing in 2012.

Isn't POD an option? I'd buy the pdf if I could get it printed and bound into a decent softcover.

Within the month for PDF.
We are faffing around with the back cover layout, ISBN numbers, amended character sheets, etc.

Adam, is there any news on the other future Sixtystone sourcebooks, particularly Fury of Yig and Colonial Lovecraft Country?

Or any of the other ones, because they all sound great.

After 'Investigator Weapons' will be 'Lost in the Lights' by Jeff Moeller, followed by 'Ghouls: Eaters of Death' by Dan Harms. This is all PDF so far. Paper publication by Chronicle City will follow later this year.

Colonial Lovecraft Country will be going to second round playtesting, once the feedback from our primary playtester has been incorporated.

Fury of Yig is still in development.

Great news about your partnership with Chronicle City.

In the meantime, I have had the pleasure to read Lost in the Lights and if you are looking for a contemporary mini-campaign that you can use for Cthulhu Now as well as Delta Green, then I thoroughly recommend it. The mini-campaign is built around a really difficult foe and involves a lot of hard challenging investigation.

I'll second that. Lost in the Lights is well thought out and presents some... unique hazards for the Investigators. I would advise them to eat plenty of seaweed...

I wonder if we should use that quote on the back cover... : )

Count me in as another PDF purchaser (hoping it'll help you finance the book).
