    Egyptian Guidebooks and Texts

It seems to be relatively recent, and so I don't know if people are aware of it, but there's a set of online texts about Egypt (and Cyprus) from the Victorian and Edwardian periods at the Travelers in the Middle East Archive, including the 1885 Baedeker guidebook to Lower Egypt. They also have the maps and illustrations as scans.

Additionally, there's the second edition (1891) of "A Thousand Miles Up The Nile" by Amelia B. Edwards online.
