    Tattoo

I am thinking about getting my second tattoo and what it should be. There are a lot of people runnng around out there with chinese symbols, celtic symbols etc. I would like to get a symbol inspired by CoC and/or the work of H.P.L.

For example THE YELLOW SIGN or an ELDER SIGN but I can't seem to find any pages on the internet were these symbols (and other cthulhu symbols) are shown.

If you know of any web sites showing Mythos symbols, or any galleries showing people with tattoos like that I would love to hear about it.

I love my Elder Sign tattoo. I got it 10 years ago and I haven't had a problem with mythos creatures since (hmm?).

Shortly after I got it, my brother got the Yellow Sign. Ahhh, what a family!

    Yellow Sign:

It's a bit clearer than the previously posted links, but I can't find the big B&W one that I printed off for my tat (I've still got it on my hard-drive somewhere if you want)

    There's also this one

I've had an elder sign on my left shoulder for 13 years (the drawing taken from the CoC rulebook (v.4). I've had a nightgaunt on my right shoulder for 17 years...drawing from the same source. Try explaining to folks that it's not a demon and the elder sign is not a pentagram...

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

I'm thinking of getting a tat soon, probably of Shub-Niggurath on my upper arm. Hopefully some time soonish too. Might take a bit though, it'll be fairly detailed.

I don't have any tattoos and probably never will, but I have to say that a Yellow Sign tattoo sound REALLY REALLY COOL to me!!!

Last thursday I got my Yello Sign tattoo on my left shoulder. I think it looks very nice.

If anyone is interrested I will post a picture of it in a week or so when it has healed completely.

    p.s.

Looking at the original message, I can see that it took me no less than 4 years to get the tattoo done.

Hahaha... better late than never I guess.

I don't have any tattoos, but the character in my webserial does. Just thought I'd chime in. lol She has both elder signs tattooed on her body, but she's really covered head to foot with tattoos intended to protect her and enhance her abilities. No yellow signs though.

    Necromancy!

Was just curious to see what people here had in the way of mythos tattoos. Got my first tattoo when I was 30ish, had just gotten out of a decade-long bad marriage and decided to be my own person. I decided to let an apprentice do it, as soon as I saw a certain drawing in his portfolio. And here it is:

Ouch! But now I have a permanent portal to the eldritch space between worlds, so at least I've got that going for me.

You can find the symbols printed very clearly in the CoC sixth edition handbook.

As for me, Im pretty intent on making the Staring Eye the center of my back piece.

My friend has a very impressive Yog-Sothoth tat on his arm which tends to fold around limb. As for me, a misspent youth resulted in me getting rank tats as a result of being the Sibhat within a Chinese boxing brotherhood. One after 5 years (little dragon) and one after 10 years (large dragon holding the moon). They are on upper arm areas so my time in the corporate world was not jeopardised by them being visible. Still have no regrets but everyone should always choose wisely prior to getting one!
