BENHA, Egypt (Reuters) -- Egyptian doctors said they removed a second head from a 10-month-old girl suffering from one of the rarest birth defects in an operation on Saturday.

Omg, she had two heads! Bizarre, to say the very least. Must have freaked her parents out.

If you check here , you will see an actual photograph of a baby (not the above mentioned Egyptian baby) with this birth defect.

Warning: it is graphic and not for the squeamish.

There's a similarly graphic (though not quite as unsettling) picture here - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6998205/?GT1=6190 - another news article on the Egyptian case.

That picture is so gods-damned wierd, it's really hard to believe... just try not to imagine it BLINKING

In biology, we studied birth defects and its really wierd when you watch a video that has (a?) 13 year old (twins) that have the same body. And the second head is alive and sentient. Its really freaky. One girl in my class vomited!

That's really weird. Maybe we're seeing the next evolutionary trend. Two sentient braine are better than one?

It sounds like you are talking about Abigail and Brittany Hensel, who were born in Minnesota in the early 1990s. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abigail...rittany_Hensel. They were the subject of a Life Magazine article and a Discovery channel profile. I though they were unusual, and certainly not upsetting to the point of nausea.
