    Looking for Caribbean history

can anyone point me to a book/website/something about Nassau and Ashton (the Bahamas) in the 1920's? Also i'm looking for a good book on the flying boats of the era.

There is the horrible Bermuda Triangle (Chaosium) sourcebook for the 1990s. I would recommend pick up some Ian Flemming or guidebooks like Frodors from that time.

PS: This is an interesting tidbit I found about Bimini History

    "Rum-Runners:
In the 1920's during the era of Prohibition in the U.S., Bimini became a popular spot for rum-runners. Bimini's proximity to Florida, made it a convenient place for smugglers to buy rum and alcohol and make a dash for the United States. In the 1920's, the rum-running ship The Sapona, was docked in Bimini and used as a speak-easy until it ran aground and sank during a hurricane in 1929. Today, the wreck of The Sapona is a popular fishing and scuba divi"

Honestly, I don't spend *that* long looking. I just can find stuff and it makes a nice break at work and home between Westlaw and Lexis searches...

I hear you, but at my job they use, I think its called "spy software" so they can see everything you're doing on your computer. But because
we're so understaffed, they let the computer just record randomly so I only post before work, on break, or at home.

Have I ever stated I hate corporate America?

Sorry to hijack the thread, back to PARADISE!

Has anyone ever thought of using Key West as a local?

    http://www.keywestweb.com/redirect.p...ntedtours.com/

Or do a search on the cemetary, very pretty place

    http://keywest.com/cemetery.html

I love the quote on the first picture.

    Or more Info is here.

    Just my atempt at Linking.
