New Fantasy Grounds 2 / Skype game

Hi. I'm starting a new FG2/Skype game on alternate Sundays 8pm - 10pm (GMT) starting 26.08.12. I'm hoping to get a regular group of four players with one already confirmed. I'll take on the role of keeper for the first few sessions whilst everyone gets used to the software but after that i'm happy to act as keeper or player. Please note if you want to act as keeper at some point, you will need the full version of Fantasy Grounds 2. Players only require the lite version but there is no option to upgrade. If you are interested please post and i'll PM you the relavent details.

Definitely interested in this Isembard. I got FGII on the basis of of the CoC supplement. Sadly the good people at Smiteworks, developers of FG, and other people have seen fit not to update the ruleset as much as the Savage Worlds ruleset, but there may be something happening on this front ... I haven't looked at the Smitewors site for a while but have just seen that there is an extended CoC version. Are you using the basic version or this extended one?

For future reference, I forgot to add that I can be Keeper as well as a player.

I've had the FG CoC experience from player and as keeper, so if I can be of any help - just pm me. Not saying I'll know the answers; for example I know little about the programming side of it, but I can get it to work; and I'll try ... and Nyarlathotep loves a trier as we all know.

Good news. Cearlan got on ok as well so everything seems to be running fine.

Cearlan has pointed out to me a decision we will have to make before Sunday. I had planned to set up a conference call on skype using audio only. This will however require everyone to have headsets which I don't know is the case. Alternatively we could use a video call but having seen how much space I need to dedicate to my FG2 window this may require a second monitor. I have head set and second monitor so I am easy either way so let me know what you would prefer. I believe Cearlan has run FG2 only games so could probably advise how well they worked if we can't agree on Skype. Really looking forward to the game though, just need to entice another couple of players.

Google+ has a ;lot of people singing it's praises for just this sort of venture. Not looked too deeply into it yet though. Skype though sounds good to me personally, and I reckon my laptop could cope with both FGII and Skype, be it in conference call or video.

What size / resolution are your monitors - use the biggest for your FG, that way you get as much info as you can up there.

Ive got a mic headset Webcam and 2 monitors so I'm happy with whatever
