Go raibh maith agat Colin! Looking forward to seeing this, especially the parts dealing with the War of Independence and Civil War! Great to see poitin getting a mention on the contents list as well I think this will be a more enjoyable way of revising the history I was made learn in school!

It's been awhile since I've planned to purchase a book but I gotta say I'm seriously tempted.

Delighted to see the good reviews roll in! The praise is richly deserved IMO. The only fly in the ointment for me is that it's a monograph rather than a "proper" supplement, which means it's difficult/expensive to get here, and won't be available in our local gaming stores.

I don't suppose Innsmouth House will be stocking it?

Alas, having had a long look at the logistics of importing Chaosium monographs into the UK, we no longer do.

It is available in PDF, though.

Got my hard copy and read it cover to cover over the following two nights. My response is very similar to Beast Of War, linked above. A fine addition to my Keeper's library. Recommended.

Unfortunately, I hate reading PDFs. I'll get a physical copy at some point, but postage from the US is horribly expensive. It really is bizarre that Chaosium don't have a distributor for this stuff in Europe.

It's a unique selling point for them, they also gain maximum return by direct sales.

Sure, but I'd buy a lot more if I could get them in the UK/Europe,and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Most of those I have, I bought second hand.

I bought a few in the last Chaosium sale, but at least one I really wanted was out of stock. Surely part of something is better for them than all of nothing!

It's cost/benefit. After 8 years Chaosium has not made such a move. This would suggest their overall profit is better by selling at a higher margin to fewer customers.
