2012 Ennie Award Nominations & Results

Surprised no one has posted this yet (or did I miss it?):

    http://www.ennie-awards.com/blog/2012-nominees/

    Check it out...

Congrats to Pelgrane, Cubicle 7, and -- Chaosium?!?! LOTS of Trail stuff nominated, plus Stuart Boon's Shadows Over Scotland, and lil ol' Cthulhu by Gaslight (twicet, even).

Now git out there and vote!

    *brims with pride*

That's about the best news i've had in weeks. So stoked, am i, to have been able to work on a project like Gaslight. Kev, you should be proud. And getting the next manuscript ready for me.

If you could vote for Stealing Cthulhu for Best Writing, I'd really, really appreciate it.

Also consider Invasive Procedures, which isn't strictly Lovecraft but is horrific and Cthulhuesque, and The Investigator's Guide To Occult London.

Surprised no-one else has posted about the results yet. I was watching them live, via Twitter, but fell asleep soon after.

For the full list of winners see here.

Cthulhu-themed products had a very good outing with e.g.
    - Cthulhu by Gaslight (Chaosium) winning Silver ENnie for Best Art, Cover
    - Cthulhu Apocalypse: The Apocalypse Machine (Graham Walmsley & Pelgrane Press) winning Gold ENnie for Best Electronic Book
    - Cthulhu Britannica: Shadows Over Scotland (Cubicle 7) winning Gold ENnie for Best Setting
    - Cthulhu by Gaslight (Chaosium) winning Gold ENnie for Best Supplement
    - The Investigator’s Guide to Occult London (Pelgrane Press) winning Gold ENnie for Best Writing

I was also pleased to see Cubicle 7 win various ENnies for The One Ring game.

A big Mythosy congratulations to all the winners! I am honored to have been a tiny part of the Gaslight book.
