These podcasts are great and hopefully open up another weird fiction author to a wider audience. I'm considering an Averoigne game for the soon to be released 5th edition of Chivalry and Sorcery or a Mongoose Legend version of Zothique.

These stories have a good deal more atmosphere to them than a lot of current works. The fantastic use of language is just not what any modern authors seem generally capable of or that modern audiences care for. Each time I read something from one of the weird fiction circle I seem to come across a word that requires a quick dictionary check to decipher but which succinctly matches tone and circumstances to give an almost perfect sense of meaning.
