Go ahead. If yours is chosen, you will be paid the prize money. I'm still trying to get them to say yes. I feel good about it though.

Ok we're hanging at about ten submissions. I'm going to bat this week to get some more prizes added. Probably it will be gaming products. Any ideas or requests of what would be preferred?

Hm, I honestly think the prizes are already quite generous. Perhaps word has not spread widely enough? Could you get a mention on one of the podcasts? Would News from Pnakotus cover this? Not sure there's time before the contest deadline.

Can you get any signed swag? Props or promotional stuff from HPLHS? Maybe "trophy" prizes would be as attractive as the money. Personally, seeing a scenario in publication is a pretty great thrill.

I do think people might be reticent to write Cthulhu Dark adventures, since it's such a different approach and there's little other material to use as a guide. Publishing a few Cthulhu Dark scenarios might really spur people to think about how and what to write for the game. And the set of people who have played and designed their own adventures for Trail of Cthulhu is still much smaller than the broader CoC market. Give it time.

For the above reasons, I really hope you stick with it!

I hope to get a submission in as soon as other distractions are removed (PS what is this "work" thing this "employer" person keeps going on about?)

Ok guys. I've sorta been under the weather. I had two back surgeries for cancer in three weeks. I'm on track for a full recovery, but I may need to push the deadline back a week. Submissions have been slow and that's my fault for not being more proactive. Please help get the word out about the contest.

Ok guys. I'm back to about 68% operating capacity. Time to push this contest on to the end. Please consider submitting a scenario. It's going to be a fun book when it's done. There will be some really nice art and some tshirts as well. you may not win a prize, but your chance to say you're a published game designer is knocking on the door, plus it's for a good cause. I hereby push the deadline back by one week, to the 22nd of June.

Did you get permission for any rules sets other than ToC and DC? And are there any DC adventures (as opposed to DC Adventures) out there to look at?

Since people still seem to be reticent to write Cthulhu Dark, do you think maybe it would help to allow scenarios written for CoC that could be adapted before publication to CD or ToC? I mean, if you get a great scenario, it seems to me that you could modify the mechanics. I'm sure you could call on some volunteers for post-contest conversion if some of the five are written using CoC mechanics....
