Lux or Legacy, what to read first?

My hardcopy of The Legacy of Arrius Lurco just arrived, so I grabbed the PDF of Lux in Tenebras as well (knowing there were some prequel or supporting scenarios in there). For folks that have both, where should I start reading? Either way, I'm looking forward to some fun reading.

The campaign is so well written that it is a joy to read. I will recommend you to read the campaign first, then Lux, so you will see how the PCs on the extra scenarios fit in the whole story. Most of the extra material is very useful as well, and maybe you can play the not-related scenario to start your players in the feeling of Invictus, but that comes after Lurco.

You can't go wrong either way!

As a fan of epic campaigns, I read Legacy first.

But Lux gives you the prequel adventure, plus some other neat advenutres you can drop in, coupled with some useful all-around tidbits (when I run Legacy, I'm tempted to use the chariot-racing rules from Lux.) for ANY Invicturs game.

Your players probably won't give you a choice. Most groups end up with at least one charioteer (sporting) on the Red Faction. I created the rules for racing out of necessity, because one of my players wanted to race and ALL the other players wanted to bet on the races.
