Turning Health, Stability and Sanity upside down?

So this is probably the nitpicking of the century, but am I the only one that think the boxes for Health, Stability and Sanity on the character sheet should be flipped upside down?
You know, like thermometers, with the positive numbers up, and the negative numbers down?

No i have to agree with you, it should begin in the positive, at the top of the box and count down and lower. Then again, CoC character sheets do the same thing in counting down (up?) And it works regardless...even if it just feels off.

You could do that. Would you have a saving throw once they reached sufficient levels to avoid madness, injury or inhumanity? Say d20 v current level.
The Armitage Files, now with added Ennie Award.

@GBSteve: Damnit! I feel like there's an in-joke I'm not getting right now...

@Aklo: Having it go up to go down or vice versa is perhaps a bit more non-eucludian though :P
