Cthulhu game in Washington DC Metro Area

Almost got a group going late 2010 (met 3 times to play 2 adventures) but it fell-apart. So I'm trying again. I'd like to join an ongoing game, or start a new game, to meet monthly, give or take. I generally Keep but also like to play. I ran several CofC games at GenCon and have been playing since the mid-80s (college).

PM me if interested. I can host too, and live in northern Virginia.

I'm in Fairfax. I haven't played in years, but I'm interested if I can work out the timing and logistics.

    DC Metro Game

Hi, I just relocated to Adams Morgan. I ran a classic CoC campaign last year in Arizona and have recently run a number of one-shots using the Cthulhu Dark rules. I've been playing since high school (80s), and played a lot in college, but have only started back up again over the last couple of years. Honestly, I'm searching for a job in the area right now, so I'm reluctant to jump back in to a campaign-level game commitment. Still, I couldn't resist replying to your post. I could be up for one-shots or mini-campaigns in investigator or keeper role. Would like to stay in touch in any case! -Chad

Hello Joe and Chad. At this point, I'm strictly thinking of one-shot (two tops) tournament-style adventures. Ideally meeting monthly. I have a few other "regulars" I can count on to play from time-to-time, so the goal is getting contact info. and eventually a pool of 6-8 folks in the hope we can get 4-5 of them per monthly session (tough to do!). I could host and run the first, as I did back in Late 2010. Please PM me your email and a phone and we can go from there.

Oh, personally, I run/prefer the old school BRP (d100) system, and often run non-1920s and non Cthulhu-now period adventures. My last several were 1950s, 1980s, and 1990s.

I played in the two games that Vonkeitz mentioned. Good fun, and I'd like to see the group keep going. People can pm me as well, and between the two of us we'll get you on the list so we can plan the next session.
