COLD LETTERS...
Cold Letters is the name of our competition/contest/event to come up with interesting/entertaining/fun compositions of phrases using the Lovecraftian Letters magnetic words kit from Innsmouth House.
The rules are fairly simple, simply compose a phrase to your liking and post a picture of it in this thread!
1) You are allowed two entries (they don't have to be posted at the same time).
2) Your second entry (if you want) can be "no holds barred" - i.e. you can use the Lovecraftian Letters set along with any other magnet sets/fridge magnets you can find to create anything at all.
Courtesy of Hippocampus Press (and YSDC) there are *eight* prizes up for grabs which include:
The deadline for entry is 31st December, 2011. After which eight entries will be selected by YSDC. (Max. of one prize per person.) We'd like to retain the right the re-publish any entries for possible promotional purposes, so feel free to take part on that understanding.
- A copy of the CD-ROM of HPL Collected Essays
- A copy of HPL's Letters to Alfred Galpin
- A copy of HPL's Letters to Rheinhart Kleiner
- A copy of the Lovecraft Annuals 1, 2, 3 & 4
- A proof copy of Ramsey Campbell's Inhabitant of the Lake and Other Unwelcome Tenants - since the title of the competition is a spin-off of the re-printed anthology of this (Cold Print)
We're listing it as more of an "event" than a competition. Have fun, be as creative as you like and take the opportunity to entertain your fellow Yoggies with your dark wisdom!
