You, too, will come to understand fear as I have.
Thanks for purchasing Macabre tales, LoneKharnivore. It is sincerely appreciated. I hope you enjoy my take on Lovecraftian horror.
I'm sure I will, thankyou. I have to say, I was a little disappointed to find that the bundle option didn't allow for dead-tree versions of the rulebook, meaning I had to buy SotDMS seperately, but oh well.
I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but I thought I'd mention to anyone else who has bought/will buy this that the cheapest and simplest domino set I've found is this one on ebay. Comes in a nice wooden box, which obviously guards against the rigours of repeated transport, and the tiles themselves are solid and durable. Also, they're only £1.98 (including P&P) each![]()

@LoneKharnivore: Unfortunately, DrivethruRPG doesn't allow print products to be included in bundles. I hope that will change in the future.
Spectrum Games is pleased to announce the PDF of “A Translation of Evil”, written by John Almack.
A Translation of Evil is a short adventure for the Macabre Tales roleplaying game. What if it were possible for a book to actually be evil? What if the written words themselves had the ability to inflict harm upon the reader? If so, how do you fight something that is, in essence, only an idea on a page? Will the protagonist succeed in translating this vile tome or will his fate be far more sinister?
You can purchase this product here: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/102060/A-Translation-of-Evil
Well, I certainly like what you and the artist have done for the cover.

Thank you, John. You're a great guy and a talented writer. I hope this adventure gives you some exposure. =0)
This scenario has been out for less than a day and we already have a short review for it. Nice.

My copy arrived yesterday, and I'm settling down to read it; I have to say, I adore the look and feel of the thing.
Just wondering, though... is the character sheet available anywhere other than in the book itself? I really don't want to destroy the spine by photocopying it, but shelling out for the PDF simply to get one page is a bit beyond my means at the moment.

you know, speaking of this new RPG, something a bit weird and funny happened to me: some time ago, there was some kind of adventure contest and I pitched an idea. To my surprise I seemed to be good enough and they gave me a free PDF version of the game and said they'd publish my adventure.... but I never heard anything again, even I tried to contact them several times....
