Is Whisperer hitting DVD anytime soon?

The most recent news I can find online isn't very recent. Halloween has been mentioned, but that's only two days away. Any of you folks with connections have up-to-date news?

I've not seen anything, but like you I'd be very interested in hearing some news about this.

I was hoping to pick up Whisperer along with Die Farbe this Halloween.

Their website still says October in one place, "Fall" in another. I haven't heard anything more.

As long as it's out before Christmas, though, that'll do me. Then I can put it on my wishlist!

Me, too. Last I heard when I mentioned this was they were working on multiple translations, and on lining up distribution channels. They wouldn't give me a date, though. I saw the movie at a screening in NYC, and it was brilliant. The wait is well worth it.

The DVD of Whisperer is nearly done and will be available around December 1. We've been working really hard to pack the DVD with special features, behind the scenes footage, technical featurettes, deleted scenes, and things so very strange and delightful we dare not elaborate on them here.

A BluRay version is in the works and should be available early in 2012.
