Last Lovecraft was meant to be funny and silly.
Tremens, if you want another silly, spoofy movie, try Dead Snow. It's Norwegian and, though the characters take what happens very, very seriously, the movie does not take itself very seriously. I enjoyed it.

Thank you guys, our homebrewed fest happened last night and it was a blast ! Thank you for all who recommended movies, although I didn't pick any of these (my teammate actually found quite the gem and I had no choice but to agree with his choice). We didn't win, but came close seconds by one vote !

"In search of Lovecraft" was so bad ...it actually hurt to watch it...it would be at this point in the game I would have to roll and see how much sanity was lost
oh and btw The Ressurected is also streaming on Netflix....very passable adaptation of Charles Dexter Ward

I completly forgot about Cthulhu Mansion...and the Tomb...was it just me or did it seem as if it was just Saw rip-off... I mean the Tomb was a good story on it's own..if they would have just kept tothe original story it would have actually made a good movie.
