Question [DG: Targets; Disciples of the Worm] Have you run this yet?

    ****Warning! Spoilers!****

I am going to be running a mini-campaign out of Targets of Opportunity later this month and using the Disciples of the Worm as the main bad guys. I was wondering if anyone has run or played in any games involving this and what you thought was fun or not fun. I will specifically be using...

    Spoiler:
Dr. Adam Barrowman as the main plot hook. The players will be headed to Democratic Republic of Congo to assist another cell which is already there under the guise of doctors without borders. The PCs are going to come across the Fresh Start front organization for PharMethuselah, discover Compound 82 and it's effects, get run down by Col. Matumba, and hopefully find Barrowman before the Disciples wipe them out.

Anybody done anything like this yet?

I've not used the Disciples yet but from what you suggest I think The Black Seal #3 might have some useful information. I'd be interested to hear how it goes.

It's probably what Synthboy is referring to, but yeah... The Black Seal #3 contains "The Spiralling," a scenario by David Conyers involving a PISCES operation in the Congo.

    Spoiler:
It could be easily refocused to involve PharMethuselah as the main baddie instead of the cult in the scenario, and DG instead of PISCES is a cinch.

IIRC there's also an interesting article in there on 'Survival' in that part of the world - contracting diseases and what-not.....

I downloaded the issue, and it's been a great resource for me! Thanks for the suggestion!

I have a campaign on pause where two agents have intecepted a man coming across the US/Mexico border with unusual cargo. Their inquiries are leading them to want to talk to a certain doctor who is eager to cooperate with authorities.
