Cthulhu Apocalypse: The Dead White World

Just noticed this, so I think I'll beat Pelgrane to the punch.

    http://www.pelgranepress.com/?p=4106

The first part of the highly anticipated Cthulhu Apocalypse is currently scheduled for a March release.

The Investigators are rendered unconscious by a train crash. When they wake they discover the world has died. White flowers cover the ground and they see, beneath the delicate petals, the faces of the dead. No other human is in sight, everyone is gone.

The struggle to survive the apocalypse takes the Investigators through Britain, across the sea to America and beyond the veils of reality.

The Dead White World is the first of four scenarios for Cthulhu Apocalypse by Graham Walmsley, author of The Purist Adventures.

    Stunning cover!

The cover is by Alessandro Alaia. He's done a superb job: it's the most dramatic Pelgrane cover I've had.

The interior artwork is also very beautiful.

More evocative than the first cover. Nice.

Two things I should point out...

Firstly, The Dead White World contains three scenarios. (Arseny, I think it's about 40 pages long and we haven't decided on a price). It's the start of a 12-scenario campaign.

Secondly, we're planning a competition, to win a whole bunch of postapocalyptic novels. It'll happen...you know...soon. I've written it already. It's fun.

The cover art is evocative indeed. I really like how it echoes Jerome's covers, but has its own character at the same time.

So, if it's a 12-part campaign, is it safe to assume there will be four books, three adventure each? Is there some sort of (vaguely estimated) release schedule you can share with us?

And while we're at it, when's The Rending Box going to be released? Survivors of The Dance in the Blood were inquiring about the sequel for some time now.

That does look very good. I hadn't seen it before. It plays well too.

Looks great. How much does it cost and how many pages?

Alessandro survived the Pelgrane ordeal by fire, and came out stronger. It's a great cover, and an enjoyable adventure. It's quite different to Graham's other adventures in that there is some scope for PC longevity, though only one PC has made it the whole way through 8 adventures, and that's because he wasn't at each session! I'm on character number 3.

I'm loving the print friendly option! More of that going forward would be great. I'm loving all the trimmings and whatnot too. Classy.

Now, I must avoid the temptation to read it (Graham will be running the campaign for us starting Monday ).
