Re-Animator the Musical (Directed by Stuart Gordon)

If you're anywhere in the Southern California area of the United States, please inquire. I saw the preview show last night with friends and a great time was had by all. More info here: http://reanimatorthemusical.com/ .

I just found out about this last week and I'm quite excited! I doubt I'll be able to make it for the first run but (like Evil Dead The Musical) I consider this a must see.

We went to the premiere last night, and found the show absolutely hilarious and a whole lot of fun. It's a tiny space, but they use it well. In lieu of a formal or detailed review, I'll just say that if you liked the movie, you'll love the musical. Also, if you're thinking of a particular scene or effect from the movie and wondering if it's in the show, it almost certainly is.

A nice write-up in the LA Weekly!

We saw the preview and a friend gave some input, but the finished work is something I will see in a few weeks.

A video piece about the show:

Didn't realise it featured "Norm!" (George Wendt) from Cheers.
