Wow! These are awesome! I wonder what the chances are of these getting into the Companion...*hint hint*

Looks like they were made using Dundjinni. They forbid commercial publication of maps using their artwork without a license.

While we entertained the possibility of inluding maps in the Masks of Nyarlathotep Companion, practicality made it all but impossible. The Companion is just too large a book (and I have only seen 190 pages of the layout, which is just five of the ten chapters, but seen and edited everything else) to have yet more content shoehorned in. Even then, the maps would have to be in black and white rather than colour as using colour adds issues all of its own.

One idea was to include a single map per location. For example, a map of Jackson Elias' hotel room complete with his scarred corpse lying on the bed. To be honest though, the maps in Masks of Nyarlathotep are there for the Keeper's benefit rather than for the players.

Nevertheless, these are excellent maps and available just in time for the iminent republication of the campaign itself.

Bravo, these maps just get better and better.
The static in my mind, leaves me hollow and unkind.

droesler, Propnomicon has devoted a blog post to pointing to your maps post here, as part of his series on Masks of Nyarlathotep (which otherwise consists of great period photos and a fill-in telegram PDF).

Badger and Pookie, why concern yourself with the limitations of one-B&W-map-per-location in a for-pay book? Give the URL to droesler's freely posted full online set of full-color maps, and let keepers download their own copies. Archive a set for permanence. Doesn't that address print costs?

For general convenience, I've tinyurl'd droesler's beautiful maps post as:

Thanks for the positive feedback - I made the earlier ones with dundjinni then switched to photoshop only starting with the australia chapter.

I just added more maps for mweru's cavern and tandoor singh's spice shop, I missed those on the initial post.
