The French Collector's edition of Beyond the Mountains of Madness came out earlier this month, there's been some discussion of it already in the Cthulhu "en français" in the text thread.
Most notably the single expanded & revised volume comes in at 672 pages and the Collector's edition ships in its own numbered, handmade crate (containing the campaign and several other goodies thrown in for good measure).
One landed on the doorstep of Innsmouth House the other day, so thought I'd post some pictures here. [Click on them to see larger versions.]

The crate and its contents weigh just over 4.8 kg. This is the first time I've ever seen a roleplaying supplement come with a flag...
This edition was limited to 100 numbered copies and made available on the Sans-Detour web site on the evening of Friday, 27th August at 21:00 Paris time. The majority went within 10 minutes and all disappeared off the site within two hours.
Currently this must be the most deluxe production for Call of Cthulhu in any language. It will be interesting the see what the German edition from Pegasus Spiele is like later this year.
I've also recorded a video of the unboxing which I'll make available to Yoggie Patrons once I've had a chance to edit it together.
The one I received was number 88. Do post what number you have if you've got one!
