DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (CBS Charlotte) – Don’t tase the nude 80-year-old woman, bro. Police in Dorchester County, S.C., used a Taser on a nude 80-year-old woman after she allegedly attempted to attack police with her walking stick. WCSC reports that when police answered a complaint of someone making loud noises in the area, they were met by an elderly woman wearing no clothes on her porch, reportedly hitting the steps of her porch with her cane.

Given that a lot of Smoggies seem to have a 'Middlesbrough look', I don't think you can really say anything about the appearence of the Monkey Hangers. Although come to think of it, most of Teesside would probably make a fairly good British stand-in for Lovecraft-country, along with a few bits of the surrounding area that have suitable reputations (eg, Whitby).

As for the monkey mayor, he's been re-elected twice and has apparently been doing a pretty good job of things.

Authorities tell KPRC that Stephanie Dillard was charged with endangering a child after she was found naked and eating ice cream at a nearby drugstore on Friday.

Dillard allegedly took off her clothes as she ate ice cream at a CVS after she left her three children — ages 5, 12 and 16 — alone in her car following her collision with a Metro bus near South Post Oak and Orem on Friday.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports that former middle school principal Anthony Giancola was in custody Friday afternoon, but it wasn't immediately clear what charges he was facing. The first crime scene is at a halfway house for the hearing impaired, where investigators say Giancola stabbed four people, killing a man and a woman.

Later, authorities say Giancola pulled up in front of a duplex and asked residents where he could find women. After the residents told him to go away, he crashed his car into their porch. He also hit a 13-year-old boy on a bike as he was fleeing. Three women were hospitalized and the teen and another man were treated at the scene.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia man was stabbed six times Saturday for apparently not being a barber, police say.

Philly.com reports the 29-year-old victim was inside his home giving his 6-year-old son a haircut when a stranger entered his home through the front door.

Police say the stranger asked the victim if he was a barber, and the victim replied that he was not. They say the stranger then left, only return about five minutes later and ask for a haircut.

When the victim refused to give him a haircut and asked him to leave, police say the assailant pulled out a gun. The victim struggled with his attacker, who then pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim six times.

HARTFORD, Conn. – A Connecticut man on death row for the killings of a mother and her two daughters in a 2007 home invasion says he came up with a bizarre plan to end his own life by lying about killing others in a spree of violence.

In an interview with The Hartford Courant, Steven Hayes said he fabricated claims in letters last year that he killed 17 people and committed dozens of drugged date rapes. He had hoped prison authorities would notify police and that he could trade information for food, including oysters to which he is deathly allergic.

DALLAS -- Police say a naked man crashed a pickup truck into a Dallas mall, then drove over a few kiosks before stopping to try on clothes.

Dallas police were called to the Southwest Center Mall around 7:30 a.m. Friday. Officers say the man was apparently covered only in a blanket when he drove his truck through the glass entrance doors, then crashed through several kiosks before driving into a Champs Sporting Goods store.

Once inside the store, police say he left his blanket in the truck and started putting on clothes and a pair of Air Jordan shoes.
