    train carriage maps

Anyone know where I can get hold of rail carriage maps from the 1920s...I want to play out a scene from masks using miniatures and it would be really useful. I know the old 1920s companion used to have this, but that's long out of print right? On a related note, would 1920s trains in Kenya be the compartment variety?

    Cheers

Horror on the Orient Express has carriage maps, as I recall.

Contact the James J. Hill reference library in Minnesota. They have quite a lot of railroad material. I used to work there and once had to fill an interlibrary loan request for sections from a book that was just floorplans and schematics of rail cars from 1900-1920.

Very nice reference Madman. They seem to span late 19th and 20th century to midcentury (at least).

I'll note that these are Pennsylvania Railroad stock, though, not European.

    Still quite nice to have.
