I'm in the East Coast time zone, same as Arkham, and it is now 12:09. May the Stars Be Right in the Coming Year!
I wonder what time zone R'yleh is on? It shouldn't be hard to figure it out from the coordinates.

Happy New Year!
I will now accept birthday wishes.

Not sure about R'yleh, but here in Massachusetts we're 15 minutes into 2009. What will the new year hold for us Call of Cthulhu devotees?
Looking forward to:
New Tales of the Miskatonic Valley from Miskatonic River Press
Mysteries of MesoAmerica from Pagan Publishing
Pulp Cthulhu from Chaosium???
And 2008 was a pretty good year:
DVD Lovecraftian Tales from the Table from none other than Paul of Cthulhu and the Bradford Players!
Death in Luxor from Goodman Games
Final Flight from Pagan Publishing
A Murder of Crows from SuperGenius Games
Secrets of Morocco from Chaosium (did Chaosium put out any other new, non-MULA, paper publications for Call of Cthulhu this year? Jog my memory if so!)
So yes...2008 was pretty good, and here's hoping 2009 is a bright year for all things Lovecraftian and Call of Cthulhu!
Cheers all,
Brian C.

...and can you believe that my son's hockey team has a game scheduled for 8 a.m. this morning? Talk about sanity-blasting...ugh...

A very happy, yog-filled new year everybody!
Because it's the deadest day of the year in the Netherlands I spent New Year's day playing Arkham Horror, including the Dunwich Horror and Curse of the Dark Pharaoh expansions, with my girlfriend. We each played with two characters and prevented Yog-Sothoth from waking up.![]()
