I've just posted episode 8 of the Cthulhu Podcast.

In this episode we hear of and from Charles Lindbergh who in 1927 flew nonstop and single handed from the States to Paris.

Then we hear a track from Skip James called "I'm so Glad".

Finally we hear a story written, and read for us, by its author AnneMarie Donahue.

The main attraction for todays episode is a story written by RL Burt and is called "The Mistake". This story has been previously broadcast on the authors own podcast called "Come, Let Me Whisper", where he's been broadcasting his own horror writing for about 2 years. You can find that here...

In this episode I go over the introduction of the Prohibition bill, detailing the events around the presidents vetoe of the bill.

I've also included a 1927 musical track called "Under the Moon". A great little number.

The feature for this episode is a reading of the Lovecraft tale, "The Terrible Old Man".

I've just posted ( yesterday actually but we'll keep that between ourselves ) episode 12 of the Cthulhu podcast.

It starts with a short introduction to the 1927 classic silent movie "The General". ( Which you can legally download from Archive.org )

Then we have a mythos poem called "Where the mind Echos" by Jamie Patton

Then we have a 1918 musical track called "after you've gone" by Marrion Harris.

And the feature is a mythos sci-fi story called "Aboard the Vordlak" by William Meikle. It s a monster story and William has had some fun with elements of the mythos.

The article on Nellie Bly was really interesting - what a woman! Certainly defies any stereotypes of the era and an inspiration for any female CoC investigator.

So does the move affect itunes downloads? I'll wait to see if it comes through.

There will be a new seperate feed at iTunes, it'll take a while to filter through however.

The old feed will be dying off fairly soon, so you need to switch to the new one. I plan to stop updating the old feed within a couple of episodes.

I cant change the old feed as that is owned by the podcast hosting service I was using. Due to problems there, I have created a new site and feed that I can control.

I'm not familiar with iTunes so I cant give much advice to you except to switch to the need feed as soon as you can.
