    Scenario Relay Run

I have started a project with some of my old RPG friends I call Scenario Relay. Add the friends to a mailinglist. Make em write a scenario together, starting with the one on top of the list. He/she writes as much as he/she wants or has time for then mails it on to the next on the list. This rolls on 'til completed.

    How about it? Anyone interested?

Sounds like an interesting idea ... hopefully you'll recruit some of the forum's many excellent writers to participate

Coincidentally, I have been working over the past week or so on a project I hope to announce soon here on YSDC which takes a similar notion but develops it in an entirely different direction. Basically, my idea is to design a scenario that starts off fully-written and playable, but gets passed around between different play groups in such a way that it gets constantly re-written by each of those groups, kinda morphing to become a collaborative writing effort as it goes around ... The aim is to create something that's a kind of RPG analogy to the round-robin that produced Lovecraft's most obscure "collaboration" The Challenge From Beyond (which also forms the basis for the scenario I'm developing).

I love collaborative writing, and I think for RPG scenarios in particular bouncing ideas off other players and GMs can produce and refine the best ideas.

Count me in! PM me if you still need participants.
Legs, yes. Bowtie - cool. I can buy a fez.

    My dear fellow Yoggies,

Recently I've been very busy with family orientated stuff, such as changing diapers, feeding toddlers and working. But I'm about to get back on track, so I'll be posting some sort of start up here as soon as possible!

    Sincerely sorry for the disappearance

I'd be interested to see the end result if you put it online, but I fear that this may lose some focus and consistancy with this many pens. Then again, a little madness can be good for call of cthulhu.
