I recently read a piece on rogue castration (in Newsweek I believe) and I came up with something like this. Comments and criticism most welcome as usual
THE EUNUCH
Background
- A patient of mine recently came to me to ask about castration, - said Dr. Whitaker – can you believe it? People are interested in the strangest things these days. But that’s not the best, or maybe worst part. He says some of his friends have been castrated recently. That’s just horrid, don’t you think? Anyway, he says there’s this crazy shaman performing these operations, and they’re ending most unusually. My patient says they get manlier after the operation, that’s why he even started considering it. I was utterly speechless! That’s completely wrong! A castrate doesn’t gain additional masculine features, he gains feminine features. They have large breasts, they tend to gain weight. They’re more emotional. While this guy is telling me the exact opposite! They’re converting they’re fat into muscles quickly, their voices get deeper, their skin cleans up, they start looking more and more handsome. I didn’t know what to say. I asked him for an address of one of these friends. He said he’d bring me one the following day. I haven’t heard from him for over a week. Would you mind checking in on him? I wouldn’t want to lose a patient so sickly. I must say contacts with him have been very profitable.
The thing with Eunuchs
It’s fairly simple. The unnamed Shaman is a rather old Indian shaman, gone somewhat insane. In his insanity he has discovered a parasite, that enhances masculine features. The parasite is a single organism, that feeds on testacles. Sick as it may be to us, that’s the way it survives. Upon devouring the male organ the parasite injects part of it’s organism into the castrated individual. This organism produces the hormones that make the said man more and more masculine, of course to a certain level. The male becomes charismatic enough to persuade other males to follow his example. The parasite, currently living in the Shaman has contact with his parts distributed between the Eunuchs, sort of hive mind contact. This contact also allows the parasite to dominate the infected specimens to some extent. It’s sole purpose is to expand it’s reach to the whole male population. Some will say, good, let’s all be more masculine! But remember, this may cause the earth to die, because children will never be born again.
The Shaman
The crazy Shaman is Broken Bull-horn once from the Teton Dakota tribe. He performs these ritual castrations somewhere deep in the Black Mountains, but already hundreds of men are flocking to him. There is only one way to stop this parasite from spreading to the whole globe and destroying mankind. Killing the crazy Shaman and burning his body will end the parasites life. When approached by the investigators, the Shaman will know their intent, and will send his just converted minions against them, and in the meantime will flee. He knows these mountains well, but he must be killed, so the Investigators will follow him into the most deadly traps they ever encountered. Grizzly bears, falling boulders, avalanches, deadly streams, bad water, slippery logs and so on. Keeping up with the Shaman will be easy, as he knows the Investigators won’t catch him, and he wants to see them die, so he will always be in sight when the Investigators are in trouble. If the investigators are lucky(the gods look down on them kindly) they will send a storm. Every six hours there is possibility of a storm. Only then will the Shaman forget he is trying to evade someone and will stop to pray to the storm god. The parasite will try to flee his body knowing that danger is near. It will dominate the Shaman and throw him at the Investigators. That he is a powerful enemy, I think I don’t have to add.
