• Your registered email address is your login name. We suggest you use a free web-based email account as provided by Hotmail, Yahoo etc.
• Do not give away home telephone numbers in your 'Details' section. If you feel that verbal communication is necessary, consider the use of a mobile phone instead. Best of all: email or ICQ the person first.
• Do not list your full home address in your 'Details' section.
• As a rule of thumb, do not specify any details in your entry that you would not be happy for complete strangers to have access to!
• We reserve the right to suspend or remove entries deemed inappropriate or an abuse of the system.

Privacy Policy

• We at Yog-Sothoth.com take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We have taken both technical and organisational precautions in an attempt to ensure that your personal data is protected from abuse by third parties. However please remember the Players Directory is a publicly accessible document.
• We will never knowingly pass on your personal data to a third party unless required to do so by law.
• Due to the open access nature of the Players Directory it is strongly recommended that all entries should be carefully examined before submission to insure that your entry's content is appropriate for public viewing.
• Steps have been taken to minimise the likelihood of search engines harvesting personal data, however we cannot offer a guarantee.
• Your personal data, submitted to the Players Directory, can be removed by contacting the site administrator.

Use of Cookies

• The Players Directory makes use of cookies. These are small packets of data which facilitate the creation of new entries, searches etc., as well restricting authorised access to certain areas.
• These cookies exist only during the life of your browser/connection to the Yog-Sothoth Players Directory and they should automatically be deleted from computer when you close a correctly configured web browser.
• It is not possible to use the Players Directory without cookies enabled. Most browsers are pre-configured to accept cookies.

• The Players Directory is available for use by everyone regardless of age, but we would ask that if you are under 18 you should not submit an entry, or make use of the search facilities, without first seeking the consent of a parent or a legal guardian.

• Links to external sites should be appropriate to the purpose of this Directory.
