  1. Great Yuggoth! A Pugmire quagmire is such a nameless void! My story in Pelan's book is not one of my best, alas -- but I sure did enjoy being in that book. As a lark, I sign'd my byline with "Esq." in true Lovecraft fashion, never expecting that John wou'd include it in ye actual book. I've now just completed my newest book, a wee thing of 37,000 words -- but I wrote ye damn'd thing in six weeks, which is unheard of for me, as I am usually a slow writer. I'm feeling a bit of a burn-out now, but I've been invited to submit a story for a new anthology to be published by Arkham House and that has been rather elated. I've been longing to be an "Arkham author" since 1974!
    kisses, my dear,

I really enjoy your writing. I just read your story from Children of Cthulhu the other day, listened to your interview with Rick Dakkan and I watched a few of your youtubes. Immersed in a pugmire quagmire methinks. Cheers back at ya.

A Wondrous Lovecraftian Year

by hopfrog on 23rd December 2010 at 12:07 AM
My Nameless Ones:--

This has been one of the most fantastic years ever in regards to my life as a Lovecraftian writer. Part of the joy and stimulus that I have found is being able to come to sites such as this and engage in discussions with other Lovecraftians. Indeed, I find it vital. It took me forever to get online. I told myself it would prove a distraction that would take me away from writing, that I would spend my days watching Barbra Streisand and Boy George videos at YouTube

My First Yog-Sothothery Blog

by hopfrog on 6th July 2010 at 12:11 AM
I've just realised, after reading PoC's blog on BLACK WINGS, that we can blog here -- for some reason that never sank in until to-day. Although I have my own blogspot or whatever they are called (I'm still very computer clueless), I want to begin writing blogs here that are concern'd specifically with matters of Lovecraftian interest. BLACK WINGS has been very much on my mind, so I thought I wou'd just chatter about it for a wee while. My first experience with working with S. T. Joshi as my editor
