Spot Hidden and searching a place for clues

The problem of investigators missing a vital clue by failing a Spot Hidden roll is mentioned frequently on the forums. I came up with the following rules procedure to be used when your investigators search a place for clues.

Basically, if a clue is vital to the plot, the investigators will find it once they are looking in the right place. Opening drawers and closets and looking under the bed is standard procedure that doesn't really require a special talent. I assume the characters
