Along with being a magician I'm also a professional prop builder. I'm currently working with Cirque Du Soliel building some crazy trees for the Zaia show here in Macau. I was talking some pics for documentation purposes and I couldn't help notice a certain resemblance between my half finished folding tree and a famous race of Lovecraftian beings.

Shanghai

Well here I am in Shanghai doing magic at the Macau festival in the famous Nanjing road district. Before I arrived I did some research online to see what the Shanghai of the 1920's looked like. Needless to say it has changed quite a lot.
Its one of the largest ports in all the world and quite a marvel to see.

As many of you know of my dark and gothic tendencies I thought it wonderfully appropriate that I should arrive in China during the ghost festival or festival of the dead. Acording to wicipedia....
