Origins 2009 has come and gone. I had a great time and thought I would post a write-up of my experience and my observations. For the second year, I went to Origins with my wife and oldest daughter so my experience was a tad different than previous years.

Thought everyone here would appreciate this. For my b-day, my in-laws gave me a first edition signed copy of Campbell's Cold Print. Very cool.

Origins is coming up soon and I'm looking forward to that. I won't be running as many games as I normally do but that will also mean that I will get to play more.

Full_Metal_Wolf's Journal entry here reminded me of a chat log I have from one of my first sessions I ever ran. It has some good pieces, but mostly not. Still, good times.

The next morning was Sunday morning and Oscar and I, tired from a long but fun week, got up early and went to to con. He and I were both running 8AM games. Friday morning came and I got up way too early in the morning so I could grab a quick breakfast (yah hotels with free breakfasts) and headed down to the room (coffee in hand) to get it set up for the 8AM games.
