Web Site, Twitter and Facebook

So I recently re-entered the world of Facebook. The first time round I signed up to see what it was about but didn't do much with it (especially after having 4 million "become a zombie/vampire" requests) and my attention was (and is) pretty much elsewhere.
This unfortunately upset some people who were unhappy I hadn't accepted their Friend requests. The truth was I simply wasn't using Facebook and only peeked in every couple of months, so I shut down my account.
Now I've set up a new one - but in this case it's not me, but for YSDC (a business not a personal account). There's also a "Yog Sothoth" FB account which is set up to simply administer the YSDC FB page. In theory that should all hang together unless Facebook takes umbrage - we shall see.
Through the arcane workings of Tweetdeck I can now post Twitter-like status updates to both locations simultaneously which should prove handy. They are all ostensibly for the promotion of YSDC, but with the odd personal post thrown in - i.e. the way the YSDC Twitter account behaves at the moment.
It seemed sensible for YSDC to have a footprint on Facebook, but the heart of interaction remains "Olde Yoggie", so ideally it should go a little like this...
If I think it's appropriate doing so/have the time I will post things first on YSDC, then send out a Twitter/Status update. That will often link to a topic/post on YSDC, even if said post just provides a link to subject matter elsewhere. Why not just provide a direct link in the Twitter/Status update? To provide better context. To give credit to the original Yoggie poster and to provide an avenue for further conversation. Simple as that, really.
So on the understanding they're not really personal accounts, here you go. Meanwhile this web site (and email) remains the best way to reach me, personally.
Having a Facebook account may be useful these days, but it's just one tentacle of several we're extending.
