To mark the New Year, our little shop run in support of YSDC over at InnsmouthHouse.com has had a facelift (and a backend lift too).

To celebrate the new shop front we've stocked some new/interesting/limited items (as well as restocked on some of the old). After much anticipation the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society has released their film adaptation of Lovecraft's The Whisperer in Darkness on DVD.

Whereas the HPLHS' previous adaptation, The Call of Cthulhu, was a silent film, Whisperer is a "talkie", but again shot in a production style in keeping with the 1931 publication date of the original story using the Society's "Mythoscope" process.

The two-disc DVD set is out now, with the Blu-ray edition to follow in the New Year. The film can be ordered directly from the HPLHS web site and Innsmouth House will have them available soon.

Now out in PDF (with a print edition to follow in early 2012) is the Laundry Files: Agent's Handbook for the Laundry Files RPG from Cubicle 7.

The Agent's Handbook is a 128 page player's guide for The Laundry universe offering advice on tradecraft, details of new equipment, rules for civilians (and for running historical games) as well as promising "maddening forms and eldritch bureaucracy".

Since it be ye festive season I thought I'd put out The Silver Lodge show Christmas 2011 edition on general release.

The Silver Lodge is a club-style show in a somewhat more relaxed format than the old Yog Radio. Besides yours truly, hosts in this edition also include Fin, Jon & Marty and features a little bit of news (as News from Pnakotus is taking a short break), a review of Designers & Dragons and The Thing (2011), a new skit: "The Oneironauts" and lots of chat!

Also find out how I unfortunately kill a topic stone dead (sorry).

Anyway, we hope you enjoy this rather jovial show and welcome behind the doors of "The Lodge"!
