Cthulhu PodcastAs heralded in Yog Radio #44, we've split off and expanded the Yog Radio News section into its own podcast, entitled: News from Pnakotus.

Featuring yours truly and the most excellent Mr. Chris Lackey, News from Pnakotus is intended to be a periodic podcast covering all things Lovecraftian, weird and Cthulhu-related. Feel free to give it a listen!

Show co-host, Chris Lackey is well known for also being the co-host of the H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast and it's great to have him on the new Yoggie show. News from Pnakotus goes out on the main YSDC podcast feed (www.yog-sothoth.com/podcast.xml) and the first edition now out, coming in at a more than respectable 52 minutes. Future twice-monthly'ish shows should be a more snappy 15-20 minutes... possibly/hopefully?

Fantastic episode, great new show. I can't wait for more.

In the Literary News section, would you also consider including information on Lovecraftian comic books? I'm reading two right now that I'm not sure enough people are aware of yet.

The first is "The Cthulhu Chronicles: The Calling" by Boom Studios. This is going to be an on-going comic title, but it'll be run as a series of short mini-series'; each about four issues long. So, if I understand it right, the title of the comic after the colon will change with each new mini-series.

The second is "Alan Moore's The Neonomicon" by Avatar Comics. This is a limited series that will only be three or four issues long, (I'm not exactly sure). This comic is rated NC-17, rated X, whatever you want to call it... it is for adults only. That said, it is one of the creepiest and most intreguing Lovecraftian comics I've ever read. The adult themes Alan Moore is using is for more than just shock and awe, it is a critical element to the story. I'll just say this.... you'll never look at cultists the same again! Sheeesh!

Two of my all time favorites hosts in one show, one of those things you cannot get with MasterCard! Priceless.
Thanks for keeping your listeners up to date on everything lovecraftian.

Huzzah, great stuff! Thanks for the heads-up about the new Whisperer trailer -- it cost me 1d6 SAN, but it was well worth it!

I listened to it last evening - it made an otherwise dull evening fly by, and was a great pleasure to listen to. I am going to download Monophobia and I'm keeping an eye out for De Profundis, second edition (prefer to purchase the print edition rather than the pdf). Good job, guys - a fun, casual, good-time podcast that was a really fun and informative listen.

Well done gents! I particularly like the description of the French BtMoM. Drooling now. At least my wife speaks French. I could use one, really, I could. Oh well. Keep up the excellent work.

That was fun. Graham Walmsley is from the south but as he's a professional actor, he's very good with accents. Perhaps he could be endeavoured upon to read something.
