  • Continuum 2010 Seminar Recordings

Continuum 2010 logoIn early July Helen & I attended Continuum 2010 in Leicester. While there Yog Radio made a few recordings of some of the seminar track, including How to Write for the RPG Industry, the Cubicle 7 Seminar and Running Your Own Mini-Con.

These recordings are now available, and thanks again to the convention organisers and seminar hosts for allowing us to record and share these.

Continuum is (or has been) ostensibly a Chaosium-based games convention, but there's always lots going on. Some more information on the convention can be found in the Continuum 2010 YSDC thread.

How to Write for the RPG Industry

    Saturday 3rd July, 11:00 AM

Alan Bligh & John French have been the lead writers for Fantasy Flight Games' Warhammer 40K RPG line, including Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Deathwatch. The guys have also written for Call of Cthulhu and other Games Workshop lines. In this seminar they take questions about their work and also about how to make your mark as a writer in the gaming industry.

Apologies for the sound quality of the recordings. Field recordings can often be a challenge and the room used for the seminars had a rather aggressive air-conditioning unit!

The seminars are also on the YSDC main podcast feed, so if you're subscribed you should get them automatically.

Thanks for the Cubicle 7 podcast! I'm liking the sound of 'Shadows over Scotland' as a Call of Cthulhu sourcebook. Saving up my pennies as we speak.
