The holdings of the British Empire included present day Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, and parts of Iran and Afghanistan. It was an area comparable in size to the continental United States, or Europe west of the Ukraine.

The historical background and religious traditions of the Indian subcontinent rival those of other regions such as the Middle East and China. Humankind has lived and worshipped here for millennia. India is a fertile place, and there is much room for the Mythos to fester and grow.

This book is designed to provide enough information to set Call of Cthulhu adventures and campaigns during Gaslight India (c. 1890 A.D.).

MISKATONIC UNIVERSITY LIBRARY ASSOCIATION monographs are longer works by one or more authors on a subject of import to Call of Cthulhu roleplayers. On these products the author has also fulfilled the functions of editor and layout artist; Chaosium have done little in the way of editorial. The works were found compelling and Chaosium thought that you would enjoy them. Through the publication of monographs Chaosium can offer their most loyal fans more information more easily, and evaluate the potential of these works for eventual release to the wholesale market.

No idea about the quality of the content, but this MULA has the pottential to be a brilliant resource for a Gaslight campaign.
