• Devil's Children Re-released

Written by David Conyers, David Godley and David Witteveen, Devil's Children is a re-working of the Cthulhu Conglomerate tournament scenario that originally played at Conquest 1992 (Melbourne, Australia). It was later published by Pagan Publishing in 1993 as one of their first scenario books. Long out of print in either version, we are now able to release this updated version as an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file.

"If the witch confesses nothing she must be dismissed according to the law; therefore every care must be taken, to ensure confession." - Inquisitor Sprenger

Salem 1692. The wind rises, shaking the trees. Strange cries are heard from the forest. Surely the Devil is afoot, come out from his hiding in the woods. But who are his servants, and who are his victims? Dark birds spread tattered wings and croak at the moon. The Devil is abroad, the Devil is abroad...

Devil's Children is the first scenario in The Witch Cycle. The second is A Handful of Dust, also available through Yog-Sothoth. Both scenarios are interlinked, but each can be played separately without requiring knowledge of the other. Each uses Chaosium's BRP system.

You really are spoiling us now. Not only is it a cool scenario, the layout is fantastic and it's the best price around - FREE!

Any chance we might see other Cthulhu Conglomerate scenarios in the future?

(Oh, one small mistake noticed - the SAN/Cthulhu Mythos scores for Richard Shaw in the modern section don't add up. Which of the two would you change?)

Glad you liked it. Unfortunately I'm all out of Conglomerate material now, this was all I contributed. The rest predominately is in the hands of Liam Routt (caligari), Mark Morrison and Richard Watts, all of whom are members of this forum. If you want anything more, Yog-Sothoth.com will have to lobby them.

As for Richard Shaw's Sanity, another mistake that was missed in the proof read. Set it at 80%, which goes nicely with his Cthulhu Mythos of 19%, ie adds up to 99% maximum.

      Regards
      David

Liam Routt is your best bet, lobby him if you want to see more! (We've lobbied already and Liam has plans, but others lobbying as well may speed things up.)
